Quave Sets Five Visits

Now that football season is over, Gautier High TE Mykhael Quave has decided on which five programs he will take official visits.

Mykhael Quave can now focus on basketball season after making his decision on which college football programs he will take official visits to starting this month. The "6-5", 255-pound senior knows he will take one official visit to Louisiana, the program his older brother Daniel Quave chose last season. What are the other four visits Mykhael Quave has decided upon?

"After UL, I'm going to take official visits to Southern Miss, Louisiana Tech, ULM and probably Arkansas State if I take my fifth," Quave stated. "I'm not sure I will need to take that fifth visit to make up my mind, but if I do I will travel up to Jonesboro."

Mykhael has taken several unofficial visits, including two trips to Lafayette to watch his brother play.

"I will be coming in for this week's game against FIU," said Mykhael. "I've visited Southern Miss several weeks ago and I plan on traveling up to Monroe to watch them play against the Cajuns the last week of the football season. I haven't been up to Ruston to watch a game at Louisiana Tech, every time I planed on making the trip up there my father couldn't make it."

With older brother Daniel play at Louisiana, has Mykhael felt any pressure to play with his older brother?

"Obviously having an older brother Daniel at UL is a positive," Quave stated. "But he has told me I should do what is best for me in the end; Clearly we are very close as brothers and the program is not that far from home."

Quave spoke about his visits to Louisiana and Southern Miss.

"UL has a really good game atmosphere, their fans get into the game," said Mykhael. "Southern Miss fans are not as animated, so the atmosphere is not the same. But they have a quality program and facilities."

Mykhael Quave has met all NCAA eligibility standards and is qualified.
