Quave Looking Forward to Visit

Gautier High (MS) TE Mykhael Quave is headed down to visit Louisiana's Ragin'Cajuns Friday night, Brother Daniel sign with the Sun Belt Program last year.

As National Signing Day closes in, TE Mykhael Quave has one more weekend after Friday to take an official visit. Quave, Scout.com's #92 ranked TE prospect in the country decided last week to cancel his visit to ULM and focus on UL, Memphis or South Alabama.

"I canceled my visit to ULM because I really didn't want to play there," Quave stated. "I didn't see the purpose of visiting since they were not in my top two schools. I'm going in to visit UL Friday night after our basketball game; after that, if I take another visit it will be to either Memphis or South Alabama."

Quave received an in home visit from Coach Hudspeth recently and is looking forward to coming in on his visit.

"Coach Hudspeth came and visited me in home this week," said Mykhael. "He was really excited about the program and said that if I commit more good athletes will want to play at UL. He talked about where the program will be and playing with my brother in college the next four years."

There is not much Mykhael has not seen at UL or around Lafayette since his brother signed last year.

"I know what the UL program has to offer," Quave stated. I've pretty much seen everything around Lafayette, so I fill comfortable with the program. They set it up that Daniel will be my player host this weekend, so it will be just like I was coming down to visit with him. We've talked about this while he was home for the holidays and this weekend will be fun for both of us."

Are there any questions that he might have about becoming a Ragin'Cajun?

"We'll see what happens this weekend on my visit" said Mykhael. "I will have the opportunity to sit down and talk with the coaches about the program and where I fit in their plans. Daniel is really excited about the new staff and is really looking forward to this season. I will have the opportunity to see what he is excited about this weekend."
