Now that the 2011 National Signing Day is over, the Cajun Redzone takes an up and personal look at…
Catching up with the Cajuns-Mykhael Quave
Mykhael has added some extra things to his workout routine.
"Of course I am doing the workout the coaches gave me. One of the things that are cool is that there was a boxing gym opens up in my neighborhood. I have been going there and boxing and it has me in great shape. Right now I am up to 265lbs and getting bigger."
Mykhael has always been a solid student in the classroom and now it's paying off.
"I am taking Senior English right now and that's all I have left to do. So I am all set to enroll this summer. I am going to major in either Industrial Engineering or Industrial Technology. I am really excited about getting to Lafayette."
Quave has been in constant contact with some of the Cajuns coaches.
"I talk to Coach Stringer and Coach Rodrique all the time, at least once a week. They are telling me to come to summer workouts ready to go for the season. I am moving down there the week of June 1st -5th. Our first practice is June 6th and I can't wait."
Quave played tight end, offensive line and on defense during prep career…Finished his senior season with 18 receptions and 5 touchdowns.
