Jamal Malone made his way down to Louisiana to check the Cajuns out for their Spring Game. The 6ft…
Malone is READY!!!
The list of schools that have been to Jefferson County to check in on Malone is pretty impressive.
"Coaches from Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Arkansas State, Louisiana Tech, and UL have been by to check up on me. The coach from Louisiana Tech told me that I had a full scholarship offer there if I wanted one. A lot of coaches have told me they were going to come to our Spring Game at Alcorn State May 14th and watch me play."
In spite of all the attention, Malone is very outspoken about where he wants to go to school.
"Shoot, every school in the country could offer me, but I want to be a Ragin' Cajun. It wouldn't matter to me who else offers. I feel in love with Lafayette when I went down there and that's where I want to go. Coach Stringer told me a while back that he hopes I get a thousand offers as long as in February I signed with him. I loved to hear that because that's what I am going to do. I plan on coming to UL camp and show out and get my offer and tell Coach Hud I am a Cajun."
Malone caused 7 fumbles last season and had a break out game against national power Evangel Christian with 5 tackles and 2 QB pressures.
