Ruston HS O-Lineman Joseph Brunson is becoming a hot prospect for several schools across the south. With one offer in hand, Brunson is heading to a lot of schools this summer in hopes of landing a few more. The 6ft 4 290lb Brunson talks to the Cajun Redzone about his summer plans.

Several schools have made contact with the talented Offensive Lineman from Ruston.

"I am hearing from LSU, Memphis, UL, Louisiana Tech, Arkansas, Mississippi State, and Texas A&M. I have plans to camp at Memphis, LSU, Mississippi State, Louisiana Tech and UL. I got an offer from Memphis last Monday. I feel like UL is close to offering as well as Mississippi State and LSU. But for right now, everyone is even."

The Cajuns have made a point to let Brunson know he is wanted at their summer camp.

"Coach Lovings came by practice last week and talked to Coach. He said he wanted to see me at camp so I am for sure going."

As far as a time frame is concerned, Brunson is keeping an open mind.

"It depends on who offers and when they offer. I really wouldn't mind making a decision this summer and getting it over with so I can focus on my team and our season. I will know when the time is right though."

Brunson plays in the back yard of Louisiana Tech, what are the differences from UL in Lafayette?

"Lafayette is a larger community and there are a lot more things to do around there," Brunson stated. "I like it a lot, it's not too large and the people are really friendly. Ruston is more of a smaller community and the people are more laid back. But there are not nearly as many things to do in Ruston, as there is in Lafayette."
