Ripley(MS) HS is looking for ways to get their best players the ball this fall. One of those players is 6ft 3 220lb Linebacker Isaac Bails. Bails was a standout of the defensive side of the ball and next year he will get the ball in his hands as well on offense. Last weekend, Bails was a player that jumped out at us at the Southeast Select Combine. The Cajun Redzone introduces you to Ripley LB, Isaac Bails.

Bails feels really at home at his linebacker position but looks forward to showing what he can do on the other side of the ball.

"I am going to play some running back and some wide receiver this fall. I am very excited to see what I can do at those positions. On Defense, I play LB and some time D End. I am an aggressive, attack the ball kind of player. I see where the ball is going and I go get it. I use my speed to run to the ball."

Ripley has completed spring ball and Bails feels like this year will be a better year for them.

"We only lost 4 players so we can be a lot better than we were last year. I think with me playing on offense that can only help us to get better. Plus our defense is going to be really good next year. I just can't wait to get started."

Bails pretty much has a good idea of the schools he has some interest in and wants to see.

"I like ULL, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, and Southern Mississippi. I plan on going to camp at ULL and Mississippi State for sure. I was very interested in ULL since last season. It's a place I have been looking at for a long time now."

Bails is a much grounded young man and told me what the most important thing to him is, "Education first.

" That's the most important thing. I haven't really decided what I want to major in just yet but that's the most important thing."

Last year, Bails finished with 77 tackles and 2 sacks.
