Brunson Earns Cajun Offer

Joseph Brunson came to Lafayette this weekend with a clear purpose, earn an offer from Louisiana's Ragin Cajuns. Mission accomplished. The 6ft 4 290lb Brunson got the good news today after he returned home and was very happy to talk to the Cajun Redzone about the camp, Lafayette, and his timeframe for a decision.

Brunson was very complimentary of the camp and the city of Lafayette.

"I had alot of fun down there. I went there for Junior Day and loved it. i just love the atmosphere there. I love Lafayette. i can definately see myself playing there."

The coaches at THE University of Louisiana also made a big impact on Brunson.

"I got to talk to Coach Hud. He asked me who all had offered and what I thought of the school. He said for me to be ready because I would be hearing from them soon. Then today I called and talked to Coach lovings. He said the loved me and that i had an offer from UL. That was awesome because it was one school that I wanted an offer from."

As far as a decision, we wont have to wait long for Brunson to pull the trigger.

"I want to have this done befpre my season starts. This offer definately puts them at the top. Its a great school, they have a great atmosphere, and I can most definately see myself as a Cajun."
