Northwest Rankin started playing 7 on 7 this year and Green felt pretty good about it.

"I felt like we did ok. We went to Alabama for their tournament. It was new for us. We have a new coach and new plays so all in all we did well. We eventually got beat by the team that won the whole thing so I was happy that we got beat by the best team. I played really well. I got some picks and some pass break ups."

Green has several schools interested right now.

"I am hearing from Florida International, Miami, UAB, UL, Mississippi State, and Ole Miss. Right now Northwestern State is my only offer, so they are my leader. But if a D1 school offers me that would vault them to the top. The head coach at Florida International is recruiting me and has been in touch alot. I plan on going to camp at UAB, UL, Mississippi State, and Ole Miss."

One of Nigels teammates and friends Wil Freeman went to the last UL camp and went back and told him all about it.

"Wil told me how awesome it was. He said that its great down there. He said that they treat you like family, and thats the kind of school I want to play for. Coach Hud invited both of us back for their camp in July. I am gonna go for sure. If the right school offers, then I will commit."
