Brooks Haack
decided that he wanted to be a Cajun. The talented Texas signal caller picked the Cajuns from several other offers. The Cajun Redzone talks to the newest Cajun Commit.
So what was it about the University of Louisiana that made Haack decide he wanted to be a Cajun?
"I have just been talking it over with my family and we decided that it was just the right place for me. My sister is there on the softball teams and my parents were so excited when I told them I was going there. It was a great feeling to know that i will be a Cajun."
Haack talked to Coach Muniz today and told him he was ready to commit.
"Coach Muniz said are you serious? I said yeah. He got so excited and went nuts. He said he was jumping up and down and fist pumping and everything. I am going to call Coach Hud tonight and have a long talk with him."
So if he could relay one message to the Cajun Nation, what would it be?
"I am just super excited to be a Cajun. I am going to take this chance and take this program to places its never been before. Me and my whole family are super excited to be Cajuns."
