Cole Being Patient

One of the names that I am asked about more than any other in recruiting this year is Meridian(MS)HS WR Shelton Cole. The 6ft 3 195lb Cole has an offer from the Cajuns and is hearing alot from two other schools. With signing day a while away, Cole has played his cards pretty close to the vest. And while he still has a leader, he is going to make sure before he makes a decision.

This year being Cole's Senior season, he wanted to make an impact. Thats exactly what he has done.

"My season is going very well. I have been working on seperation and getting off of jams. I am catching alot of balls. I have done really well. We are undefeated and thats the most important thing."

Three teams have been in contact Cole and two have been in contact a little more lately.

"I am hearing from Mississippi State and Purdue. Coach Hughes at MSU calls me every week. I went to their game with LSU and had a good time. Purdue has called an invited me up for one of their games as well. They dont call as much as MSU but they are calling."

The one team that has offered Cole is Louisiana's Ragin Cajuns. He is very happy to hear from them as much as he does.

"I hear from UL all the time. They really want me to come down soon and visit. Thats something I really want to do as well. They have faith in me and offered me, so that will always be a big thing to me. They are my favorite for sure. I plan on taking sometime, because I dont want to be a kid that flips. When I commit, I am done."
