While signing day 2013 is over a year away, Cobb is starting to hear from school's that are interested in him wearing their uniform during his college career.

One of the things Cobb wanted to do this season was improve, not only as an individual, but also as a team. He accomplished both of those goals.

"We won our last four games and made it to the playoffs. We beat Gulfport a few weeks back. Everyone considered that an upset. Our defense just went out there and shut down their running game and we won that game pretty easily."

Alot of young players know they want to play football in college, but they dont have a clear goal for life after football. Not Cobb. He has a career path already lined up.

"I am going to major in pre-med. I want to be an orthopedic surgeon. I am looking for a school that can not only make me a great football player, but a school that can help me get a great education. I plan on going to alot of camps this coming summer to try to find the right fit for me."

Two school's have already taken notice of the talented linebacker. And Cobb is returning that interest as well.

"I am interested in the state schools, State, Ole Miss, and Southern Miss. I am hearing already alot from Mississippi State and Louisiana. They send me stuff all the time. I went to camp and to a game at MSU. It was alot of fun. I really like the coaches at Louisiana as well. Those two school's are showing me the most interest so I am looking at them very hard."
