Sullivan to Join Brodhead's Staff

Sources close to the UL Womens Basketball program verfied that Arkansas State Assistant Coach Jennifer Sullivan will join Coach Brodheads staff in a similar capacity.

A native of Jonesboro, Ark. Sullivan served as an assistant coach at McNeese with Gary Brodhead for one season before leaving for Arkansas State. Prior to her time at McNeese State, Sullivan was an assistant on the University of Memphis staff during the 2007-08 season. She began her coaching career at Rhodes College, serving as an assistant during the 2005-07 seasons.

Sullivan's responsibilities at ASU included recruiting Arkansas, Mississippi, Alabama, Louisiana, Georgia and Tennessee, with emphasis on the Memphis area. She also served as the director for the Red Wolves' summer camps and assisted with opponent scouting and monitoring the academic progess of the student-athletes. Sullivan served as the liason to the Athletic Training department and edited highlights for the Coach Brian Boyer Show.

A standout for the Lady Hurricane at Jonesboro High School Ark., Sullivan finished her career with 800 points, 310 rebounds and 99 steals. She earned all-district and all-state honors as a player at JHS.

After graduating from Jonesboro High School, Sullivan continued her playing career at the University of Memphis, where she earned her degree in communications in 2005.
