Dutchtown HS (Geismar, La.) DL David Elias next camp stop will be at Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns Big…
Elias Shines at Camps
"I went out there and worked hard to show the staff what I could do," Elias stated. "I pretty much beat anyone they put in front of me, including the guy from Brother Martin (Ryan Hoefeld) that they offered, so I felt good about the camp. Coach Rebowe and Coach Edwards said I did well and they are going to get back to me soon."
Elias didn't dwell on his performance at UL long, traveling up to the Louisiana-Monroe Warhawk's camp at St. Amant Monday.
"It went great, I traveled up there with my coach and I hit it hard again," David said. "We worked in many of the same drills they ran at UL and when the camp ended coach told me that Coach Berry was going to call me tonight and offer me. Coach Berry called and said they really want me to be part of the program at ULM and said he was offering me. It felt great to get that offer out of the way today before heading to Mississippi State Friday."
David Elias now has offers from Arkansas State, ULM, Southeastern Louisiana and McNeese State.
