Sean Osborne Being Patient

Sean Osborne has camped at Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Louisiana Tech and Southern Miss. this summer, but plans on attending camp at Louisiana this month.
Like most college football prospects,
Sean Osborne
has spent much of his summer attending college football camps. And while Osborne doesn’t not have any offers as of yet, he is being patient.
“I don’t have any offers yet, but I would like to attend one more camp this summer at UL. I haven’t heard from any of their coaches, but I did receive a letter from them early this year.”
The 6-5 ½, 250 pound Osborne scored a 26 on his ACT earlier this year, does have his first official visit offer.
“I do have an offer to take my first official visit to the Ivy League program of Dartmouth. But, I don’t have any official visits set for any program as of yet this year.”
Osborne would is more then willing to move to another position, if given an opportunity to play at the next level.
“Several coaches have told me during camps that I might have an opportunity to play on the offensive line in college. So I’m open to moving to another position if it means a scholarship from a good program. But I do like playing on the defensive side of the ball.”
Sean has played on the defensive line at Dutchtown High, but might help out at TE in the goal line offensive set.
“We are pretty deep on the defensive line, so I might line up at TE in goal line situations. With the depth we have, I can help out in those situations when the team needs it.”
Like most high school seniors, academics are an important factor in deciding on a college program for Osborne.
“I’m interested in colleges that have good academic support programs for student athletes. I would like to major in political science and pre-law, that is my interest.”
In any case, the big defensive end prospect will have more then a few options by the end of the year.
