Louisiana's Ragin’ Cajuns Football staff unveiled the recruiting class of 2008 to Cajun football fans Wednesday night. The class consisted of 13 recruits on the defensive side of the ball and 11 recruits on the offensive side of the ball. | |||

Kyron Benoit LB · 6-1 · 205 Crowley, La. (Crowley HS) Was a three-time All-District selection...Played multiple positions in high school, spending time at wide receiver, quarterback and defensive back...Sidelined part of his senior season with a strained MCL...2007 team Most Valuable Player...Completed 59 of 125 pass attempts for 1,163 yards and 10 touchdowns in his senior season...Had 54 carries for 256 yards and three touchdowns in his final year...Earn first team All-District and All-Parrish as a senior.

Pierre Hill WR · 6-0 · 150 Marrero, La. (Archbishop Shaw) A speedster who scored six touchdowns on 36 catches for 707 yards as a senior for two-time Class 4A state runner-up Shaw...As a junior, Hill also placed fifth in the state track and field meet in the 200-meter with a time of 21.92.
