Despite going without a field goal for the final 5 1/2 minutes, Louisiana's Ragin'Cajuns pulled off a 65-59 win over Arkansas State Saturday night.

Arkansas State (9-17, 4-11 Sun Belt Conference) pulled within four points with under a minute left, but Louisiana-Lafayette's Travis Bureau made a pair of free throws to put the game away for the Ragin Cajuns (12-13, 8-6). Bureau finished the game with nine points.

Kewain Gant led the Indians with 16 points. Shawn Morgan finished with a dozen points and 13 rebounds, seven of them on offense. Yima Chia-Kur and Ryan Wedel each added 11 points for Arkansas State.

Louisiana, which led 33-27 at the half, opened the second half on a 14-2 run. Randell Daigle came off the bench to lead the Ragin Cajuns with 10 points.

The Cajuns travel to New Orleans Wednesday to face the UNO Privateers at the Human Performance Center. Tip off is scheduled for 7 p.m.
