Julius Warmsley took his first official visit this weekend to West Point Academy to watch the Army Cadets battle Louisiana Tech. The 6-3,240-pound athlete spoke the Cajun RedZone about his visit and the other programs pursuing his services.

How was the visit to West Point and the game?

"I really enjoyed the visit to West Point, Warmsley said." "There is such tradition at the academy, they honoring Pete Dawkins this weekend. The whole ceremony was really old school, but fun to watch."

"The game was pretty good too, said Julius." "It was a very close game and Army pulled it out in the end, 14-7."

Which schools are recruiting you and have offered?

"I have offers from Army, UL, Tulane and Northwestern State right now, Warmsley said." "Louisiana Tech has been trying to get me to go up to Ruston and Boise State has come in lately on me as well. Coach Perot spoke to me after the game, but I haven't looked at any dates for visiting Louisiana Tech."

Which coach is recruiting Warmsley for Louisiana and is he going to schedule a visit with the Cajuns?

"Coach Rebowe is recruiting me for UL, Julius said." "One of teammates Ryan Zeller visited for the Arkansas State game, but I had other plans that weekend. I'm going to look at my commitments for the next few weeks and plan my visits from there."

How is the football season going for Warmsley at St. Michaels?

"We lost two games this season, but we are getting better, Warmsley said." "Personally, it's been frustrating at times for me, with all the double teams I've seen this season. I have just 3 sacks so far, but I do have a lot of tackles behind the line this season."

Warmsley is interested in Kinesiology as a major and has scored a 22 on the ACT.
