Louisiana's Ragin'Cajuns Men's Basketball program added it's second commitment to the 2010 Signing Class.

The Cajun Redzone was able to verify from sources close to the Cajun Basketball program this evening, that Gulf Coast Community College Guard Jeffrey Reese has committed to the Cajun staff. The 6-4, 185-pound Reese played in 30 games has a true freshman last season for the Commodores in a reserve role, averaging 2.4 points and 1.9 rebounds.

Jeffrey Reese was named to the First Team Class 1A All State Team as a senior,, averaging a double-double with 23.6 points and 10.2 rebounds. For good measure, he also averaged 4 blocks, 3.7 steals and 3.1 assists a game.

Laurel Hill High Coach Ronnie Smith commented on Jeffrey Reese's game coming out of high school.

"He could play any position on the floor and play it well," Smith said. "We just moved him around wherever we thought we could exploit the other team. He was the anchor (for the team) and he was unselfish."

Reese also had recruiting interest from Troy and Alabama State.

Jeffrey Reese and Keith McDougald now give the Cajuns two commitments in the back court thus far in the 2010 Class.
