Pryer Commits To Cajuns

Former Belaire High and LSU commitment Benay Pryer has committed to play football at Louisiana. Pryer, currently enrolled at Kilgore Junior College will sign in December during the Junior College Signing Period.

Pryer, a 6-foot-6, 290-pounder,played offensive tackle and defensive end at Belaire high School in Baton Rouge before committing to LSU. Pryer enrolled at Gulf Coast Community College because he was academically ineligible and redshirted as a freshman.

Benay Pryer tansfered to Kilgore Junior College after redshirting at Gulf Coast Community College in 2008 and played this past season. Pryer started on the interior line at the three-technique tackle, but also played outside at the DE position as well.

Pryer will have three years of eligibility left to play because of redshirting his first year at Gulf Coast Community College. Benay Pryer was also being recruited by Baylor, Ole Miss, Tennessee, Louisville, Kansas and Oklahoma State.

I will have more on the Benay Pryer commitment in the next few days on the Cajun RedZone. Recommended Stories
